|
|
Hi there people.
I've seen on many sites on the internet that you can change the splash (start-up) screen on TomTom go/300/500/700 and Rider.
I use a HP Ipaq 4150 and the tomtom navigator 5 software, and it doesn't show the splash screen and I can't remember if it ever has.
I've found the sound-file (a.k.a. the Tomtom's) that is played during the splash screen but not the bmp-file.
So my Q's are:
1.) Can I make my tomtom display the splashcreen?
AND
2.) Can I change it?
IF SO,
3.) How do I do it?
Thanx! Kman -Sweden |

The PDA version does not have a splash screen as such on the GO range. You could however change your backgound image on your PDA's today screen. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

I believe that file is there because it plays the Tom Tom sound the very first time you run Tom Tom after an install. You can safely delete this file. |

the "tomtom" wave file is supposed to play when you (re)install TTN from the 2577 folder on the SD card. I've never heard it play though, and as elyl said, yu can delete it to regain the occupied RAM _________________ Lutz
