Can anyone confirm what 'Pre-Installed Camera DB' really means?
Do the x10 units come with a camera DB installed and thats it, its out of date from day one.
Or do the x10 units include the subscription to download the camera DB, if so how long does this last ?
Looking at the sales blurb it seems a big selling point |

This is what I thought, but can they be updated at any point or will this be chargeable? Can you imagine how out of date this will be within 6-12 months. |

No idea, but I have a nasty suspicion that you'll be better off with the PGPS database. |

The stuff that is on the 910 is no different from what TomTom offer through the PLUS service. _________________ Lutz

More importantly does anybody know if PGPSW database can be used on the new systems. Ordinarily it wouldn't be a problem but what if TomTom lock the units to their base so as you have to pay for their updates.
Seems we've been here before. |
