|
|
Hi guys,
been a while since I posted in here. I currently run TTN5 on my XDAII with a BT-338 GlobalSat GPS & can honestly say I have no real problems.
I've had my XDAII for about 2 years now & the downside is the size of it, it's just too bulky so I'm thinking of getting the XDA Mini-S as I still want the phone/pda but before I do I was wondering if anyone has had any problems running TT5 on this device or are there any other suggestions??
Thanks. |

Is use the TMobile variant of the Mini-S. Runs Tomtom flawlessly. The thing to be aware of, this is a WM5 device and so you need to install TTNv5.2 (you will have no luck with v5.0). This version only supports "newer" maps (GB562 or higher?). Therefore you may need to buy a map upgrade. |

actually v5.0 will work but you have to exract the cab files from the installer put them on the sd cad and execute them from the sd card
as far as I know the latest update isn't lock to a map version so (what me get shot down in flames here) the update should support all map releases for tt5 _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .
Oh the joys of being a courier.

Been covered plenty of times, TTN5.0 will not offer COM6 or 7 which are the only two available on this device. Of course TTN5.0 will install, but without a corresponding com port.
Again map compatability has been covered before. |
