First of all I'll clarify 2 things.
1)
Quote: | You accused people of not knowing anything |
What i actually said was "some people have no idea.... " SOME people. Not all. SOME. Helps if you quote people in context. I was referring to those that could see the value in the £19 database. If this upset anyone I'm truly sorry.
2)
Quote: | You accused people of always wanting something for nothing and that's wrong |
"people always want something for nothing" - who wouldn't? I do. I'll take anything free - within reason. But at the same time I'll also recognise a bargain when i see one. Are you telling me that the population of the world, in general, would rather pay for goods than get them free?
Why have you jumped on these, twisted them and then keep coming back to them over and over?
Quote: | You obviously upset the person concerned judging by his following post. |
That person then went on to join another in a thread calling the PGPSW staff con-merchants because someone submitted a camera and didn't get a free membership. Does this person sound like the sort of person to be taken seriously???
Finally it's interesting that whilst you berate me for my opinion you keep telling me that my opinions are wrong too. Make up your mind, either everyone is entitled to an opinion (including me) or not. Clearly you have no other argument than to raptly tell me i am wrong, wrong, wrong, so that's all from me.
Nothing personal, just can't be bothered any more. |

What you actually said was clearly aimed at the previous poster, and this was before you knew he would join any other threads. Everything I quoted was in the context that you wrote (they were QUOTES). People should be treated as you wish to be treated. You clearly are not pleased at being berated so why do it to others? The apology is something that should have come a lot earlier. We all make mistakes. _________________ Holux231, XDAII Copilot 6, 1Gb Lexar SD Card |

I apologise for everything that upset anyone. I clearly shouldn't participate in threads like this because i get too "hot under the collar" and aggressive.
Having slept on it i feel i should have handled it better.
Apologises all round. |

Can't help thinking responses to these posts about speed camera database charges should be left to the mods. Unlike us mere mortals they seem to have the patience of saints. _________________ Anita

We all appreciate a little passion in our lives every now and again
It certainly makes life a bit more interesting. Certainly more interesting than the seminar on search engines that I'm (kind of) listening to at the moment! :o _________________ Robert Brady |

Oh IT is such fun
My all time most boring presentation was from a supplier on a third party mainframe interface lasted three days.
I needed a stiff drink after that one _________________ Thanks,

PaulB - get a grip young man for goodness sake..

That (lesser it would seem to you,) person joined in the thread as you'd been rather rude to someone else on there too - i did however say that to call the site "conmen" was a little harsh.
Here's my entire post so you can get carried away with the quote button again:
Quote: | kadhim - you haven't read the rules properly - it's not allowed to have opnion contrary to that of the site admin (or PaulB2005).
although "conmen" may be a little harsh |
What a pleasant example you set - is everyone like this on this site? |

PaulB2005 has publicly apologised for any offence that may have been caused. It seems quite pointless to stir it up again. _________________ Holux231, XDAII Copilot 6, 1Gb Lexar SD Card |
