Hi all, first post.
I have very recently purchased a TTG300 and it's very good, I am so far very happy with it.
I have spent some time browsing this forum and I have heeded all the good advice regarding back ups etc.
I have added the camera POI (the single file one) as per the instructions here and I have also added the voice alerts too, everything works fine, but there is one thing I am not too sure about.
When I approach a camera I get the voice alert ok but I get the same alert for everything, at first the alert for the first camera I encountered said "red light" so I went through the preferences and changed it to a single sound and "gatso". I get this warning for cameras in all speed zones.
Do (or can?) the voice alerts warn you of the speed zone for the approaching camera, ie; can I get the alerts to warn of, say, "Gatso 30" or "Gatso 40".
I have seen all the different alerts in the 'select a warning sound' screen, but I only get the option to select one sound. Thanks.
Chris.

Hi Chris,
You need to download the speed zoned file to be able to have warnings for each speed limit. Then when you have installed these on to your tomtom you can then go back in to the manage poi and warn when near poi then select the differnet sound files to match with the different speed limit poi's.
If you need the sound files that warn of the different speed limits you can find some good ones at www.tomtomsatnav.info
Hope this is of some use to you. _________________ chauf4

If so what files should I delete?
Chris.

Done it now, I deleted the old file and added the new one and it all works fine now. Thanks.
