Is it charged?. If not it may need a little while before it can be switched on.
Otherwise try the old trusted route - the reset button under the unit in the little hole. You will need a paper clip etc to access it.
Hope this helps. |

As from what you have said it sounds like the reset button is not being pressed in enough.....now dont want you to break your unit or anything but try pressing in the reset button again
If ths doesnt work try sending off an email to tom tom, not sure if you will get one back by the time you need but im sure the reset should work, my unit used to freeze now and again but seems to work fine now, down side for you is that you cannot pop out the sd card to make it start with out it.
On another point did you do any updates and upgrades since you last had yoiur tom tom working, when i played about with SDK on mine it wouldnt load up so if yoiu have done something like that you would need to remove it to get it too work again
or at least restore to your backup wchich I am sure you will have done.........havent you! 8O _________________ TomTom 300

Yes , i did do a backup, but that won't help will it? cause it's hookedup to my laptop right now and it's not showing up as connceted.
Yes, to updates... i remember getting one and installing it, can't remember what it was for now though
Is there anyway i can get too it thru my laptop? |
