Does anyone know when an update of the europeean maps and a feature update of SmartST Pro will be available?
I want the 3D View in TomTom and updated maps......
I would be willing to pay for it....
Regards

If Dave is under NDA there must be something to disclose....which means something is on its way, I look forward to it. |

|
|
A little while agon I was informed by NAVMAN support in the UK that they would be releasing an update to their maps in October. Do I take it that this date has now moved to be covered as part of Daves NDA?
Or does NDA mean Not Delivered Anymore? Never Done Again? No Don't Ask? ....

Dave, I've heard that the new navman update will include the ability to connect to gprs on a compatible mobile phone to allow traffic updates and route you around it accordingly, is this true or a myth??
I think it's called livewire in co-pilot or something like that, will it be the same in navmans new and eagerly awaited software update? |

From what I can gather up and down the grapevine, there will be no GPRS function, but looking at their new iCN software, I'm sure we can expect the same sort of features for the PDA: 3D nav, post code search, avoid areas and hopefully a few others. Well, lets hope so |

Hmm, I just bought the new Navman sleeve as part of the £199 offer.
I already have TomTom, so the question is which do I run? The new features sound promising.
Can I add speed camera warning to SmartST?
regards,

You can't add cameras to SmartST Pro. Has that made your mind up ? |

Hiya.
I also have taken advantage of the £199 offer, and have been playing with my new 3450 and SmartST all weekend! Great fun...
However, I have Tom Tom 2 sitting on my desk, not yet touched.
Do I continue to use SmartST, and look forward to the update?
Or do I install Tom Tom instead? |
