Hi
i bought myself an ipaq 3970 which came with the navman ipaq sleeve have installed ttn2 on it but i cannot get it to find ant sats ...it seems to be looking for them but it never gets a good enough lock onto them i have turned of the beam and downloaded the drivers from navman but still no joy |

just put the ipaq in the garden to see if it would find any sats it did but it took it about five mins+ ....what could be causing it

Rob, it sounds like you have the 3000 or 3400 sleeve ? Check out http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3195 as this may help resolve the problem. The older 3000 and 3400/3420 sleeves suffered from processor interference on the iPAQ and this caused it not to lock, a 5 min fix wasn't un-normal, and most received around a 3-5 min fix, or 45 min fix when driving. |
