I know of two sources neither of which allow resale on eBay, your point is? |
There is an infinite number of databases of speed camera's. Anybody can create one and sell it on ebay. My point is, why are people assuming that the ebayers are selling someone else's copyrighted database? Unless is substantially the same, there is no problem. |

Hi Peter,
A number of fluid, changeable methods are in place where we can easily identify copied versions of the Speed Camera Warning Database.
All individual downloads and batches of the database can be identified both to a particular download and member. For commercial reasons we do not disclose details of this protection methodology nor do we give all (some will be obvious to the more technical) system or visual clues that protection is active.
We are monitoring the sales of the database by several offenders and are considering charging back-dated corporate royalty licence fees to those who openly counterfeit.

the truth is ebay dont give a dam
Im a power seller on ebay (plants and stuff) we report illegal sales and some times they take them off sometimes they dont
All they want is the money. Also it is almost impossible to comumicate with them and if they dont like the question you ask they just ignore it
For instance if I were to ask them if it were legal to sell your stuff they wouldent answer, if I then listed it it would be sold unless you reported it and then some times they will leave reported sales to run |
