I can't see any indication (I may not be looking in the right place 8O ) whether these are fixed or mobile sites. If they are mobile, the map detail, and location description, is so poor (as seems common with the camera partnership sites) that unless you already knew where the location was, you wouldn't be able to find it! I trust that if any of our members knew where these locations were, they'd already have reported them!!
As someone who considers that they live in central Scotland or, at least at the western end of Scotland's central belt, does anyone have a clear definition of where "Cental Scotland", as defined by that police force, actually is?
/
I'm looking forward to meeting some of the other Scottish members in Edinburgh. _________________ Jock

All the cameras in Central Scotland are mobile. (see link) http://www.centralsafetycameras.co.uk/index.php/safety/our_cameras/
The website explains that the area is covered by 2 peugeot vans with 12 locations identified.
The website was only launched at beginning of the week so some sites may take time to be 'discovered' before being reported!
The website and locations although vague will hopefully give someone the chance to be aware of the possibility of cameras in that area they drive through and keep their eyes peeled for reporting the exact location!
With regard to the area covering 'Central Scotland' for the police force area is the areas consisting of Clackmannanshire Council, Falkirk Council and Stirling Council. |

Ah yes!! I managed to read the "Our Cameras" in the left hand menu as a Section Header, rather than a topic
Hint: you could insert a link like this
Code: | (see link)
|
to give
(see link) 8)
