Is this the 550 that you bought at a carboot sale? IIRC you didn't have the Desktop application before. CAn I assume that you have bought it, then? And f so, have you registered your device on Navman's server? _________________ Tim |

I got a brand new 1 with all the software and everything all legit. received it about 5 days ago and i wanted to put some maps on it. I havent registerd nothing dont know how to.
I load up smartst 2005 series 2, (all orginal disks) (without my navman pluged in) then it says unable to communicate with navman so i plug it in and turn it on then click next. a message appears smartst is not registerd would you like to register it now? it select yes, then it says did you receive the maps with the device i clicked yes again. Smartst minimizes and activationshell.exe loads up but performs an illegal operation.
I am looking to try it on a different computer because it looks like a computer error. but not to sure. |

Oh, OK. Glad you got it sorted. I think you must have recovered your registration information from Navman's server. _________________ Tim |
