|
|
Hi Dave and all.
By any chance anyone have tested the arkon mount with loudspeaker? spotlight sells one. I got a smart and a ford focus. Just worry I can't quite hear the instruction when I am in the smart (a bit of road noise. not too bad). Going to get hp2210, tomtom2 and a receiver (not yet decided).
(I think the mount will charge the pocket pc too.
Any opinions or experience welcome.
Thanks,
Rich |

I have the Arkon CM506 mount (if I remember the number correctly!). It works well, sounds great with the speaker in my soft-top and will recharge the 2210. Note that to charge the 2210 it uses the sync port in the botom of the 2210 so unless you buy a splitter from PC-Mobile or somewhere, you wont be able to plug your GPS in at the same time. (no problem if you are going for a bluetooth or Compact Flash GPS though). This would also be a problem with the Siedio mount too.
The cheapest place I found for my mount was 121.eurotech.co.uk - they showed a stock level of zero but when I phoned this was incorrect and it arrived in a couple of days (no postal strikes then!!).
Good luck. |

121 Eurotech and the associated a2 Distribution in Guildford, Surrey allegedly went into receivership mid October.
In view of this and unless you can satisfy yourself that this is not the case or that any orders placed will be honoured then I would advise you place your order elsewhere. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi all.
I wonder if the output (6v ?) from this mount can correctly charge hp2210 (also 6v??) ?
If I am going to use tomtom and hp2210, will it be loud enough at all?
Thanks,
Rich
