Is there any way I can get the voice commands to work through a hands free speaker. I've tried the Genuine Nokia one which plugs into base of phone but the voice always defaults to the phone loudspeaker. In a noisy vehicle this is not loud enough. Any ideas??

What firmware version does your 6600 have I had the same prob with mine and I had the firmware updated at a local nokia store to V 5.27.0
and now it works so loud through the nokia hands free unit I have to turn it down to about 40%, if you type *#0000# in to your phone it will tell you the version, the upgrade cost me £20.00 Laughing

Wow! This sounds to be the solution. I'm pretty sure that my firmware is earlier than that so I will try to get it updated. Am I right in thinking the voice now come through the Nokia hands free unit when plugged into base of phone instead of defaulting direct to phone speaker?? If so Iwill be enternally grateful for your help.

Yes it comes through loud and clear the only prob I sometimes get is that I have to take the plug out and replace it again, but maybe my plug/socket may be slightly faulty Laughing

Thanks a lots Saroleve. Got the firmware updated on my phone, and now it works perfectly through the hands free unit. Once again very many thanks for solving my problem. I wonder how many others out there are suffering the same problem - let's hope that they read this!!
