i had scaredy cats 5.2 and v5 of the maps it worked fine
i upgraded to 5.4 and v6 of the maps at the same time, i think from memory i did 5.4 before i did the maps |

Can you restore one of your backups that worked, then do a firmware upgrade to 5.420 then try your postcode search, does it work ok now? If it does now install your new maps & again try a postcode search & see if it works ok. You can get firmware version 5.420 from Oldboy's excellent website. i have a very very old back up when i first bought the tomtom,
then i would have to install 5.420 i am guessing
then install the map which i can download from the tomtom website
is that the right order,
and i dont suppose you have a link for foldboys website please

This may be obvious, but no one else has mentioned it....
When you go to the postcode entry page (not "address") you mustn't put any spaces between the two parts of the code.
Kind of hoping its that simple |
