Thanks for a informative and useful forum. I have a I3 Norwegian version with 2.70 installed. Useing webupdater (also in Norwegian version)says that I'll have the newest software installed. Anyone who knows what will happen if I install the 2.82 beta version regarding voice commands and menu? Will it be in english? |

Reading the veiws here, I have decided to give it a try. On my route from work to home, good test as it has gatso etc, I found that the beta gives the warnings a tad later than 2.7. I will try it a few more times and see if things change. Perhaps I should try the top down view as I believe that it is faster on the updates. Will continue to play and see what is best.
I do agree to the position, bottom right hand corner, you can glance it without taking your eyes of the road, but I think the prompts are very good. _________________ Acefreecell

forget beta 2.82.
2.9 is now out for upgrade through garmin website.
it looks from the update list that several issues with the beta have been addressed ie poi catagories. |
