I at the moment am quite disappointed,
I subscribed to the site 2 days ago and downloaded the speed database, however I have a Garmin Streetpilot C310, and upon further reading today I see it may not work with my unit. :x
I had loaded some other poi's B&Q's etc after the speed camera db, can someone tell me if these would wipe out the speed camera info??
I took a journey where I know there is a gatso, but the unit didn't seem to pick it up, this is why I assume it aint workin with my unit or overwritten by the other poi's I put on.
Was wondering if someone could advise me on any of the above point for me, I am at a loss at the mo, or could they point me in the right direction.
I would really like a speed camera database on my unit.
Thanx for any advice no matter how small. |

Why not? The c310 uses Garmin's POILoader and that is all that is required to load and use our database? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I must be doing somethin wrong:
Would the loading of other poi's delete to speed camera database??
I also am getting no warning sounds (maybe try the other file), only get a choice of two.
Thanx for your rsponse |

Yes. When you upload it overwrites what's already there, so you must upload all POIs and camera database together. |

From MaFt's info at http://www.MaFt.co.uk/garmin/info_use.htm
"Make sure that all POI files (.csv and .bmp) are in the same folder - i.e. if you use the pocketGPSworld.com speed camera files make sure these are in the same folder as the POI's from www.GarminPOI.co.uk. Each time you upload new POI's it wipes out any previously loaded custom points so make sure all the POI files are in the same folder!" |
