|
|
Over Xmas hols I didn't use my Palm for a few weeks, so it went flat.
Had to do a resync to get TomTom running properly again and then reinstall the camera database which had disappeared.
I had (IIRC) the GB plus map which showed main routes in Europe. I can now only see GB (no continental roads and type in Paris... nothing found!) As I still have GB map, what's happened here? Do I need to remove the map and reinstall, or is there something else as a result of flat battery???
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks |

It sounds like you have re-loaded the GB map where as previously you were using the GB "Plus" map they both contain detailed maps of the UK, but only the Plus map cntains the major roads of Europe.
Does the unit give you an option to switch maps in preferences, if so try selecting the Plus map from in here. Mike |

You're a star Thanks for your help.
Yes the plus map was still there in preferences. I had to reactivate it, so a bit of rummaging, found my product code and followed the instruction to go to ttcode for another activation code.
Bingo :D

Your activation code should not change (as long as your PDA and tomtom is the same). Make a note of it in case you require it in the future).
