i've just bought a 1gb sd card for a tomtom 300.when i put it in tomtom i get a red cross on the screen.i've followed the instructions off the tomtom website and it says when you put the cd in it should come up with a menu with install the application on it.but install the application does not appear on the menu when i insert the cd into my computer.i would gratefull if anyone out there could help me as i'm getting rather frustated.thanks mandyal |

If you put your original card in the TT300, do a FULL backup to your main PC, put the new card in your TT300, then do a restore it should work ok.
You can then add poi(s), maps etc.
Or if you have a card reader then use that, copy ALL the files from original TT300 card to main PC, then copy them back to the new card.
My first option using the TT300 is the best bet, some card readers can make the sd card unreadable by PDA's, Nav units etc.*
