tomtom and WM5

hi

I have just got my new phone the t-mobile MDA compact 2 and when i am now trying to install navigator from the disk I cant! Keeps comining up with a error messege I believe it's some thing to do with activesync 4.0!

Please Help I need TOMTOM!

Update activesync to the latest 4.1, it may help. Do you have a firewall running?

Go to www.tomtom.com and download the latest version which is 5,21N this will work with your device - Mike

hi

I have got the 5.21 update of the Tomtom website, I have installed it on my MDA with the GB maps. It's goes through the setup fine but after i have selected the voice it freezes and wont load! I was wondering should I try to connect the MDA to a computer running activesync 3.8 and reinstall Tomtom that way

Please help

You have to use Active Sync 4 (or higher) with a device running WM2005, have you got to the point where it will ask you to Activate TomTom? as this is a new device it will require activation, do you have the product code for your disk in order for this to work? - Mike

hi

It does not get to the activation screen it freezes before that! After you have selected the voice that is when it freezes it just shows the next button highlighted and nothing happens
