Hi there i have recently bought myself a k3 gsxr 1000 and thought it would be nice to have a satnav set up for when i go venturing into the unknown, i decided on the tomtom rider as it looked like a good set up as it is designed purely for bikes. I had it delivered and went to fit it but just cannot seem to be able to find a good spot for it. Has anyone else had this problem? Any soloutions? Any pics of a gixxer with the rider? i am an engineer so am thinking about knocking up a custom mount but don't want to if i don't have to. Cheers for any input. |

Hi
You could try Ram mounts - they have a wider variety of options to mount the rider - theyve got some example pics on there site specific to the rider, worth a look.

If you don't have any joy with ram-mount drop me a line - I've been making bike mounts for a fair few bikes/GPS systems so if you want any pointers I'll be happy to give them. |

robot45, do you have a pictures of the space you are working with, so we can help you brainstorm?
Any thoughts on the ram mounts?
Ideally, where would you like the Rider to be? |

Hi Robot45
just a quick question "did you get the mount sorted"?? on you GSXR.
as I have a K7 600 and am looking for a mount for it I do have a very good idea if you have not sorted it out yet.
thanks Terry |

I have a 750K7 and I used a steering stem mount from http://www.telferizer.co.uk/
I used this with a TTR2 on a trip to France and it worked very well. |
