sent tuesday, came back today.
regarding freepost and special delivery read this:
"Dear Mr Morley
Thank you for your email regarding an item you wish to send by Special
Delivery, to a Freepost address.
I can confirm that you can send an item by Special Delivery to a Freepost
address. However if your envelope is just a Freepost name, Special Delivery
cannot be used. This is because all Freepost name mail has to go via our
Nottingham Mail Centre, so cannot be guaranteed delivery for the next day.
I do hope this information is of help, if you have any further enquiries
please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards
Yvonne Leadbeater
Customer Service Advisor"
basically we wouldn't be able to claim for late delivery...
anyway, i have the dreaded "please install map data" message with my new card... time to rummage through the forums!!

Mine all works however strangly i have found a road missing!!
Not so much missing but the road that goes round our village green. its just a semi circle of the main road but before if i pulled round it to deliver a letter it would re route me back onto the main road now the map just stays on the main road. It may be because in recent years the council have resurfaced it the same colour as the green (the green is not green its concrete brown) so maybe its been taken off road maps as they want it more pedenstrinised
Apart from that happy.
