TT5 Mobile 5.200 (4450) on a C600
The postcodes have always worked before but now for some reason I cannot put my own postcode in.
The first two letters are there but not the third (number)
My postcode is BS32 but I cannot enter the 3, the keypad just inputs D. no matter if I try to click quickly or just hold the button down.
It seems that the postcode BS32 just isn't an option. All others work and I can enter a three in that position for other postcodes, just not mine!!
My Zip folder has the one file Great_Britain.Postal which is 9,834Kb.
I have tried overwriting the one on the phone but it is still the same.
Can anyone shed any light on this? or else try to input BS32 as a postcode and tell me if it works on yours??
Many Thanks |

Works OK on my N70. Depends how you have the keypad options set on your phone but I have to press the key "def3" 4 times to input a 3. _________________ Kam |

The phone is okay, the way you mention is the way my phone is configured. The postcode just doesn't work. No matter how I use th e def3 key it just repeats d.
If I navigate by Address and use the five digit postcode it is fine, I can do BS32 with no problems.
It is only when I try the 7 digit postcode it wont allow the BS3.... |

It sounds like you're having the same problems as discussed here:
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=34232
If you want to definitely confirm that the BS32 codes are in there, and you just can't get to them directly (due to the above) then try inputting BS and then scrolling down... and down... and down... until you eventually reach the 32's... Be warned it could take a while...

Thanks for the replies guys.
That is the exact same problem I am having
I know what you mean about scrolling down the BS list but there isn't a list to scroll down.
I enter BS and only get ONE postcode available, which is BS0....
This is why I reloaded the Great_Britain.Postal file in case some had Got Lost but it didnt make any difference.
I have definitely used this function before on my C500 as I used it extensively when I was house hunting up here.
It has only come about since I had my C600 Upgrade Ha! some upgrade??!! |

Ah, okay - I see.
Sorry, I'm afraid I can't help.
