Hi,I currently run TomTom mobile V.5 on a nokia 6600 with no sim card inserted. This is purely used as a sat nav system for the car.My proper phone is a nokia n70 .I would now like to transfer my sat nav card to the N70 but due to the device change obviously the GB map will not be transferred due to TomTom's license agreement and the activation code etc.Surely I do not have to purchase another copy brand new from TomTom .Any ideas how i overcome this problem. Many thanks Martin |

you should be able to switch to the n70 as you should have another activation left _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .
Oh the joys of being a courier.

many thanks for reply, does that then mean that if i copied onto a second card so that i could still use it on my 6600 i would be able to or does it only allow the activation to be used on one device at a time.I ask this just in case i get the N70 problem that a lot of other people suffer and may then wish to revert back to the 6600 where admittedly it runs faultless.regards |

Hi,
All you need to do to transfer your license to the N70 is provide Tomtom with a copy of your receipt for the other device along with your product code and new device code along with a note saynig why you need to transfer the licence. In my case i got a phone upgrade. I just scanned the receipt in and emailed Tomtom, i received a new code within 24 hours !
Contract their customer support if you need further help :

Hope this helps.. |

make a backup of your original tomtom card and keep it safe
insert the card into you n70 and install the software (you may need the update from tomtom for mobile 5 )
when you get to the activation screen go to
www.ttcode.com
and insert the details they ask for this will get you a new activation code without having to contact tomtom
this will of work if you have legal software and an activation left
once you have it working you can put the original backed up copy on another card for use in the 6600
