|
|
Hi
I've downloaded all the different groups of cameras from this site and loaded them all into my map folder one scenario at a time. I'm having no joy at all, ive got an older database installed and it works fine. I have also removed this old database fisrt in case the pictures were clashing.
Ideally id like to be able to use the cameras of different speeds, has anyone else had trouble loading these onto their tt mobile 5? im running on a nokia 7610 and as i said my older cams and ALL the other poi's are working fine. Is there special cameras for tt mobile 5? do i need to adjust the bit rate of the pictures or anything?
Please help this is driving me mad, the older database has every cam ive ever come across anyway but this is getting personal, id have expected these cameras to work easier then any others.........
I have read as much help as i can find and also about 10 pages of forum and as far as i read it im doing everything correctly, ie put ov2 file and associated bmp file into the map folder..
PLEASE HELP ME....!

Hi Jonathan, and welcome.
TT use the same POI format across the product range.
I haven't got a Smartphone but can you see the pairs of files on the device when you explore SD Card?
Are you sure you Copied the individual files and not the complete Folder.
As you had the files on there before, dare I ask if you are putting them in the same place?![Confused](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) _________________ Richard

Perhaps if all the older cams and other POI's are there, he's exceed the POI limit? |

Thanks for the quick replies...
I have extracted the individual file, so no problem there.....
I have also removed the old cams completly in case i hit any limits...I then tried removed the old cams and only trying to load in the temp cam at 20mph so that i was sure i had enough space ie. i removed about 6 catigories and only load in one.
The files for the old cams are in the exact same format and have similar file sizes this is why im scraching my head so much.....i have even tried renaming a pocketgps camera to conicide with one of my old cam pictures and had no joy, thats when i thought that the databases could be different some how... |

Just to let you all know that i manged to get the cams working....
I had to re-write the format of the name to copy an existing poi i had working...
I still have no idea why it works after being re-named but the main point is that is does...
Hope this helps someone in the fututre....
All i need to work out now is how to change the sample rate of my voices to work on my tomtom mobile......the joys! |
