Hi PocketGPS,
Many thanks for your reply have checked the zoom levels and ticked the appropriatte dots to ensure icons always show and under PIO Manager all POI's listed. However even though there are no speedcams displayed in map view there is a vertical coloured graph bar displayed on left handside of map window when map and route are displayed.
Checked the files some are ACS files matched with other with small eye on file icon are ACDSee 6.0 BMP Image files, not sure whether that is right format and how they are converted if thats what is requiered. The ACDsee icon is the same as the software I have for my Pentax digital camera I am wondering if this may be the problem not sure how to rectify to a more user friendly format?
I am confident in time will rectify this problem and the advice and support from you guys greatly appreciatted.
Best Regards Len |

You do know that the add-on poi icons cannot be seen in 3D view, only 2D. |

Hi Len
I presume you meant .asc files not asc.
not sure about the bitmap image, did you get the bmp's off this site? if so shouldn't be a prob.
just a thought have you checked in the options- max poi, show poi-only icon,
hopefully you can get it sorted
all the best

HI again,
sorry shouldv'e said .asc not acs files.
another thought, open one of the asc files on your computer with notepad, make sure all it says at the top is:
;Longitude, Latitude, Name
I had the problem after using poiedit on some pois it had other writing at the top of the page. removed it and just left the long -lat etc and worked fine
hope this helps
