Hi, just signed up here as I intend to subscribe to get the speed camera updates :D

I have what is probably a pretty stupid question Embarassed

Earlier, I needed to go to a car parts dealer so I entered the postcode in to the i3 but then it asks for the house number.....but I didn't have that info and it was a pretty long road so didn't want to just put "1" because it could be a long way from where I wanted to go, so in the end, I looked under the "fuel" section and set it to navigate me to the BP garage which I knew was opposite where I wanted to go. as I say, I'm probably being really stupid but in that situation, how would you get it to navigate to where you want to go?

Thanks.

I normally put "0" in as the house number, it then normally offers up a few addresses to pick from. At least it will get you to the area.

Thanks a lot for the reply Nick, I didn't think of entering "0" but if that brings up a list of places, thats great.....earlier when I tried "1" it came up on a totally different road to where I wanted to go 8O

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think you need the v2.70 firmware on the i3 for that to work. Which can be found on the Garmin web site.

the nuvi has an option of '-' for house number. would be handy if garmin added this to the i3 so we have 0123456789- to choose from; '-' meaning 'no number, just take me to the road'

I have the latest stable release, 2.7 I think it is? and when I enter "0" it does just that, just lists the road/roads you can go to with that post code Smile perfect.
