Hi, my Medion PNA200s is packing up bit by bit (going to take it back to Aldi for a refund), so I'm looking for a new "Decent" sat nav unit, possibly TomTom.
What I need is one that I can use on Bluetooth, add speed cams as poi's and get maps for the USA and Australia (though OZ is not that vital), and where map updates are easily available.
I was looking at the "TomTom one"
Can anyone assist?
Thanks in advance

Tom Tom One does not have bluetooth - you do not need it because the sat nav receiver is built in. You can add cameras and get maps of US - not sure about Oz. Map udates can be purchased direct from Tom Tom.
If you want bluetooth so that you can also use it as a car kit with your mobile phone then you need to go for the Tom Tom Go 500 or 700. The 700 has remote control and full street level map of Europe installed on a built in hard disc so you can use it cross border.
The other alternative is to go down the seperates route - buy a PDA (with or without a mobile phone built in), software, sat nav receiver and car mount. The permutations of these are however endless. _________________ Peter

As I understand it the TT1 does have BT for updates and info but with the Go 500/700 you can use the BT to give you a hands free option |
