But they'll soon be x£ cheaper. But compared to PC's (obsolete at the time you read the ad, never mind when you take delivery) its doing OK to be still so desirable.
MkII can't be far away now ;-) |

Hi there,
Out yesterday in Comet (Bognor), i3 on display at £129.99. Bought one two weeks ago from Maplins for the same price (returned stock) but thought that someone could be interested in getting one.
Mine is installed in centre console in front of gear lever and I'm using remote aerial on dashboard, in centre as far forward as possible, as car is fitted with athermic heat reflecting windscreen. No problems.
Good buy this one ex Maplins - software V2.70 Maps City Nav NT+v8 with
POI including Speed Cameras (needs updating!) but then I didn't expect this to be installed reading Maplin's blurb!

One step better guys, got my halfords to pricematch the somerfield/kwiksave deal that was going on a month ago (all stores sold out) but I printed a page of google listing the deal and he matched it. £99 plus £10 voucher - RESULT! 8) |

Dixons/ Currys here in yarmouth priced the i3 for £99 when i checked last weekend but had no stock. Staples and comet have them for £119, Asda for £148. Went to staples told them that dixons had them for £99 so they done me one for £97, had prob that it should have been v8 as stated on box but was actually v7 on unit, all sorted now took back today and they replaced with new one with v8+ mapping, someone had put wrong unit in box i had, how ? dont know but all sorted now and they were very patient and helpful. :D |

Hi there,
Was in Currys , Littlehampton on Sunday and saw i3 in cabinet priced at £99.97. Junior Manager found and said that it was the last one and they wouldn't be stocking it anymore! Agreed to sell it to me and produced the box with all the leads etc. Unit is immaculate F/W 2.5 Audio 2.0 and Maps v8. Impulse buy, couldn't resist it as I'm so pleased with the one I bought from Maplins. Keeping it safe for a rainy day or perhaps as a present for the wife who again got lost (again) yesterday in East Sussex trying to locate a specialist plant pot seller on her day off. Probably use it to gain confidence in carrying out F/W upgrades and speed camera downloads prior to doing the biz on my original i3. Still happy with the kit in the car - best VFM in years!!
Good forum - enjoy browsing daily prior to starting work.
