Sorry for the OT posting but I don't know of any more specific forums.
After the recommendations on this Forum I purchased Sprite Backup Premium last year. Yesterday for no reason, my iPAQ HP2210 lost all of its programme data. Switching on went through the screen setup etc. I have been taking regular backups and tried to restore using a recent backup file. Shortly after starting, a dialogue box stating "The Device is low on system memory" came up. Clicking on 'OK' terminates the restore activity.
Is this a hardware fault with the 2210 or a problem with Sprite? I tried a hard reset but TomTom Nav 5 refuses to re-install properly. It tries to install and asks for time, hand and speech voice preferences, but upon the next start-up says that no maps are present.
This is driving me mad....all advice gratefully received!

I have never had any problems with Sprite and my 2210. When you set up Sprite ......in the general Backup options have you ticked .Compress Backup, Stop Proceesses Before Backup, Name Backup Files Automatically and Create self-restoring Backup Files and selected a folder on your storage card???

Thanks for the response Dave.
Yes, all those options are selected. I have never had a problem restoring before either. This may indicate that the memory is faulty. Unfortunately, this is not checked during the System test.
