has any one else noticed, the camera icons that appears when you are near a speed camera are alot smaller then they was.
and from two feet away they are hardly visable.
why is this, and can i make them a little bigger so i can clearly see what type of camera it is? |

well i do go over the limit, but not excessively must add.
but yes icons are important, coz theres a difference between a fixed camera site and a mobile site.
obviously you need to slow down way earlier for a mobile unit, and having tiny icons means you need to take your eyes off the road for longer trying and figure out what the icon is.
if the icons were bigger, then just a quick glance would identify the icon quicker. |

When you're approaching some camera sights that are just within the speed limit you will get the camera icon displayed as you approach them, (as you are slowing down of course) Brodie and Alves on the A96 through Moray for example. So in this instance it may be of benefit to know which kind of camera you are coming to. |

I re-sized all my safety camera icons to use on the i3 as follows which I think display better;
19 x 19
20 x 20
21 x 21
21 x 21
19 x 19
If you want to try them, just rick click on each icon, then Save Picture As, open each one in the paint program you use and then save them as .bmp file format.
Don't forget to back up your current ones in case you want to revert back. |
