If you have POIedit on your PC you should be able to convert your Tom Tom .OV2 file easily enough. This is available from www.poiedit.com
Connect your PDA and open your Post Office file with POIedit.
From File use Save as to save it as a Garmin .CSV file to your Garmin POI file (the one where your POI Loader looks for POIs).
Also copy the .BMP file with the same name as your post office file over.
Use POI Loader to transfer it to your i3.
Hey Presto you have your post office POIs.
If it is fairly complete can I suggest you also send it to MaFt at www.MaFt.co.uk/garmin so that we can all use it.
I hope that is useful.

| It would be useful if it was legal, the Post Office POI file within TomTom is covered by copywrite so you can't just extract it, convert it and place it on a different platform, its in a different format anyway - so its not as easy to mess with - Having looked around I cannot find a comprehensive POI file for this and the web site for the post office states over 16,000 outlets, just a shame they dont list them - Mike |

I have the v7 on mine so you could be correct its on the later v8 software.
Can anyone confirm this??? cos i wasnt overly bothered having the earlier maps but if the newer maps come with the post offices i will get mine updated. |

They are on vs8 as I have just checked, but its not 100% the one second nearest to my house is not listed but that is small error, all the other appear to be there, upto the display nearest 50 limit - Mike |

Ah good point, I was making an assumption that it was a custom file.
