I have just bought a Garmin i3 and subscribed to the forum. I have downloaded both database options offered for the Garmin 3i BUT the POI LOader can't find any csv files in the folder (and neither can I!). Are the csv files elsewhere (?), do I have to rename the downloaded files (?). I'm probably doing something fundamental wrong but then I am just a beginner.... any suggestions? |

Have you un-zipped the file(s) you downloaded.
If you don't have a zip utility but are using Windows XP then right click on the file(s) you downloaded and then click on Explore. Windows will then display the files for you. just drag and drop them into the Garmin folder and then point PoiLoader at that folder. |

Just a note for you if you are not aware, you need to place ALL of the poi files in the same folder when you load them to the i3, as PoiLoader deletes ALL previous poi(s) each time you use it.
