Well that is downright OUTRAGEOUS! You should remove "my" submissions used in "your" database immediatly!.
So I got to speed cameras removed from "your" database that were clearly false. Two feet appart on a roundabout. Is this classed as a submission.? I expect not as you have moved the goal posts anyway. |

Apologies for the delay. MikeB was out at the TomTom offices all day today. He is currently processing many more tonight.
We will keep our promise to process camera submission and PayPal donater memberships all within 5 working day (famous last words, eh?!) Most are being processed with 24 hours.
We will make sure that no-one gets forgotten. |

Hi, as yet I have still not recieved a response even though I have sent you a e mail via the dataalreadysubmitted@pocketgpsworld.com.
Just to let you know that when I submitted my cameras I sent them in via email and hand types the co-ordinates. I sent them to Oldie (Richard) at the time who is a moderator of this site.
Do you have a record of members that sent camera information to Richard in the past? If not, you have not mentioned that there is a cut of point to how far you can go back with your records.

Yes we do have a record. We have sent 1000s of emails out, but got 100s bounced back as undeliverable. This is the most likely reason that some submitters haven't received their invite for membership.
Hopefully all outstanding memberships will be in place within the next 24 hours. |

On your website when you are given the opportunity to sign up, you state that you have a free download of the database. Actually it should be that you sign up for the database paying per month or per year.
As your database is no longer available for free downloads, you should inform Google and other mayor search engines and request them to adjust the search results accordingly.
I had one previous download to see if your database looked like something (and it did) but considdering the time I usually drive around in the UK (1 or 2 days a year) even your monthly fee isn't worth updating what I've got. Instead I'll remove it and do without it. If you want to charge for it OK, but note that there are others delivering the same and some amateur might pick up and do it for free again. You find that on the continent.
I will now end my registration, as it was only intended for this response. |

Google and the other search engines usually index us every 24 hours. They regard our site as what they call a 'hub' of the industry, hence the unusual speed of reindexing. if they haven't reindexed by tomorrow I would be very surprised. Please let us know if that is not the case and I will investigate.

Thank you all once again for the database...
I know that I would rather PAY £19/year than £60 for a "flash"
I have sent in details of cameras - in the past and if I see a new one will send it in -- but I don't feel that just because I have done that in the past it entitles me to something in the future.. I was contributing to my own, and others well being THEN, as were others all in small parts....
The databases have been, and hopefully will continue to be, "helpful"
