Hi all, I have a mitac mio 168 with TTN 5, the problem I have is now and again the battery goes flat and of course you lose all the software, is there any way you can install TTN into mem card or system ROM as this would solve a lot of probs ??
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Scott |

Why not backup? Sprite or Backup Manager will save a compressed .exe file to the mem card. A single tap on this will restore the entire device. |

You can create a autostart setup (the 2577 folder on the storage card) that way if the battery went flat you only need to reinsert the storage card to re-install TomTom.
But yes, a backup-restore may make more sense. _________________ Lutz

I have just copied the files from the navigator folder into the TomTom folder of the SD card and run it from there without any problems _________________ rabdo

Rabdo is correct. Just make sure your shortcut points to \Storage Card\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe |
