operating a HP rz1710 in a TomTom in car cradle running TT Navigator software been fine for 12 months suddenly it won't receive sat signals i noticed that the green led light was no longer flashing on the antenna i took it apart checked the wiring and the RJ11 connector plug for continuity seems ok -is it a software issue or an electronic fault with the PDA,cradle or antenna any ideas anyone?......i'm lost without it!!!

yes the antenna lead has been checked by taking the casing apart and testing from the RJ11 plug to the soldered terminals(although not sure if there is a fuse inside the casing? couldnt see one)also the power to the cradle is continuous as the pda is charging
