|
|
I have just got a HP2210 Pocket Pc and have installed the software to run alongside TomTom Navigator.
What i can see in navigation mode is tomtom and in the bottom right hand corner i can see checkpoint. what i want to know is how can i record a Speed camera when i see it.
Also do you have to be navigating somewhere for it to work. Or if you just have it on will it detect them |

I'll answer your questions in reverse order. Yes you do need to be navigating for it to alert you to speed cameras and to be able to record them. If you tap the CheckPOInt icon in TomTom Navigator, there's several option screens, and there's an option to map the record facility to a hardware button. I have mine set for calendar button, so you then just press the button whilst you're driving, and a record screen will popup asking you which type of camera you would like to select, and also the speed, and it will save it to a separate OV2 file which you can send to us at cameras@pocketgpsworld.com. |

CheckPOInt is a free POI detection program that runs alongside TomTom Navigator and is available for download on our downloads page. |
