Hi all - long time since I last posted.
looking at buying some form of Tomtom for my people at work. Can't find anything which compares the One to a 300.
All I need is something which get them from A to B with the minimum of fuss. Some of them are not techy types so it needs to be simple and the options of downloading, uploading and tweeking is not important. I have already decided on a Tomtom but don't know which one to get.
I do have a question regarding POI can they be set by the user on the One are you limited to the preloaded ones. We have about 400 locations in the country which we would ideally like to save as POI.
Does anyone have any advice on which to go for. _________________ Iphone & Copilot (Retired- Ipaq 2210 ROM1.10.07, TTN5), Road Angel and occasionally TT one |

I am a go300 user but I think in your circumstances as it for employes and you always need them to get there I would opt for the tt1...a its cheaper and b its chipset gets a better lock on the sattellites.. |

I have had a TTOne for a couple of months now and have had the opportunity to do a side by side comparison with the 300. The one is definately better. The screen is clearer, it gets a better signal and it actually fits in your pocket so is easy to take with you when you leave the car. |

Thanks for the info.
Ended up buying 2 TT1's. The lads at work are very impressed. _________________ Iphone & Copilot (Retired- Ipaq 2210 ROM1.10.07, TTN5), Road Angel and occasionally TT one |
