Tomtom Virgin?

i bought the pda from a friend, he had bought an all in one sat nav system.
he was not to sure if version 2 or 3 was installed.
i do rememeber him saying he had tomtom 3

but the disc he game me with the PDA was tomtom 2 so i assumed 2 was installed on it.

Hi edmond,

I’m beginning to suspect that you may have a pirated version of TTNav 3 on your PDA, for the following reasons:

1. You have version 3.00, when the latest version was 3.07 or 3.07T. The T denotes whether you had the traffic version.

2. Your friend has supplied you with a CD for a previous version.

If memory serve me right, I think that TTNav 3.00 wasn’t the most stable of releases and TomTom quickly brought out 3.01, 3.03, and finally 3.07/3.07T.

Hi there - sorry to tag on to your post ... hope you don't mind :D
I got a problem with TT5 software - having installed on my PDA (M1500) - runs through the initial stages - ie choose language, choose mph/km, etc, etc... but then it comes to halt with ...... No maps found !

how do i resolve this ? is there something here that i've missed ?

appreciate any suggestions.

take the tomtom sd card out soft reset then put the card in and softreset again if that dosent work look if file explore on the m1500 got to storage card the map should be visible there on the which is the first level (root) of the storage card
