Hi! I purchased a Navman iCN635 a few days ago.
On the whole very happy!
But my father lives in Yeading, Middlesex, and I can't find Hayes or Yeading in the database!
I also thought the database would show, for example the University of Hull and other universities.
I am not sure whether to live with it, or to take it back to Dixons, and then get Tom Tomo maps for use with my Tungsten T3!
I am new to the world of GPS and my only experience is driving in Japan and use Sat Nav there.....

Should have added, iCN 635 was only £149.97 at Dixons, so it was a good deal!
Sorry, for 2nd post, couldn't see where to edit the first one..!

Hi,
They will be there! The post code search can be a little " odd " with places being listed in areas you would not expect. Try doing a street search and then add to favourites. |

A dedicated unit such as the iCN635 is eaier to use and less fiddly than a PDA system. I have both.
Of course it is down to personal preference.
Which software is installed on the 635? v3 or v3.5?
Yeading (London) is definitely listed and so is Hayes (Kent and Middlesex). _________________ Ian.

thanks for your help and advice!
I returned the iCN 635 because I wanted to be able to go walk-abouts easily.
I now got a setup for my T3 and it is working very well!

Ahh...
If you want to go walkabouts, a PDA system is much better.
You can install OS mapping. Ideal for those cross-country rambles. _________________ Ian.
