HELP!!!!!!!
Being a newbie I would very much appreciate some help.
Recently i purchased a HW6515 and have just purchased 2 maps from the TOMTOM website. I have followed the installation instructions but when entering the activation code i keep getting an error message indicating that this is not the activation code for this product????
My device code is correct
The product code is as per email from TOMTOM
Please any assistance would be appreciated as i fail to see what i'm doing wrong
Kind Regards

HI,
you have to go to ttcode.com and follow the instructions from there. the code on the card has to be entered on that web-site

Hi thanks for your reply.....
Just to clarify I purchased the maps on the net. When I got the email confirming the purchase i followed the link to tomtom plus and it listed the 2 maps i'd bought and the product codes for both.
i downloaded the maps to my pc and ran the installation putting them on my SD card on the ipac.
when i run tomtom i can see the maps and then select one and it say's it needs to activated.
it asks for the product code which i enter
i confirm the device code
enter the activation code it gives me then it says the activation code is not correct for the product
am i doing something wrong still?? |

If I remember rightly the 6515 comes packaged with a cut down version of TT5 called TT4.5. It may be that the maps are not compatable, or you need to (pay to) upgrade to TT5 before you can add more maps.
Suggest you contact TT by phone for advice. I think there is a dedicated phone number or contact info for the 6515 package. _________________ Peter

I dont think that is correct if you have the 6515 with bundled TT. As I said that is a cut down version 4.5. You have to pay to upgade to TT5, then you can download the latest version of TT5 from TT's website. _________________ Peter
