Apart from SD card capacity, is there a limit? I have 4 and I'm trying to install a fifth but not getting very far! I can see the directory "France-map" on the SD card and it seems to have all the right files in it but when I start Tom Tom and attempt to change the map, I don't see it :-( Running version 5.210 on a PDA.
Everything else seems to be working fine. |

I don't really know, but I'd say not..apart from as you say, the SD capacity, which is the big one. |

I figured as long as there was plenty of space on the SD card I could put as many as would fit - it's a 1GB card and it ain't near full yet. I'm just trying to work through the issue one step at a time! |

I'm on a 2GB at present....(looking to go up to a 4GB card)....and have three maps on at present...uk, France, and Benelux(plus the 'default' major roads of Europe)....trouble is, it's such a fiddle to copy over their maps..backwards and forwards etc....but I will copy 2/3 more when I have a minute and report back. |

Are you using a card reader or Activesync connection? I'm told a card reader is faster, how much so I don't know (haven't got one) - I wonder if it's worth while? |

I use both, ASync primarily for back up and program downloads, but definately get a card reader..very inexpensive and reliable...that's the quickest way to copy films/videos/music and TT maps...even so it's still 15/20 minutes per map installation if I recall correctly...(pain in the butt.) |
