Now I have said before not to use the update (unless it was for the Medion 95000), but a lot of people seem to have used it with success.
BUT, there units are Mio168 PDA clones, and the 175 is a dedicated GPS unit, it is TOTALLY DIFFERENT to the Mio168.
DON'T DO IT |

Something very similar happened to me. However, I unistalled the winfast navigator after not getting it to work, and did a hard reset of the PDA. Installed TomTom and now I get blue satellities.
Can anyone explain this?? |

Possibly left behind some files (shared files) which is also being use by TTN5. |

Can't be that, as I did a hard reset and reinstalled TTN5... |

If you download and run the firmware update, it will show you what version is on your Mio168. You don't have to update it if it is the same version as in the ReadMe.txt file with the firmware update. |
