No progress, I'm afraid. I disabled both Norton Antivirus and Internet Security but the same thing happened. I double clicked on setup.exe, the hour glass appears for about 10 seconds and then nothing!
We're not having much luck here, are we? |

I'm experimenting with a different Installer process which will hopefully eradicate the 16-bit problems that the current one seems to suffer from. No guarantee that this will solve your problems however, but fingers are crossed. Watch this space for an announcement.
BTW, with the current download, you are installing as a user with Admin privileges, aren't you?

I have just bought a Garmin i3 and loaded the POI plus the camera info sucessfully. I have yet to try it out, but when I simulated the trip it notified me of the temporary camera at junction 8/9 M4. When this camera has been removed I will obviously continue to receive these warnings. How do I delete this camera POI, or will a later download from your site overwrite this info thus deleting it? |

I had the same problem when I tried to open the file on my new laptop (3 months old). I downloaded it on my other PC (3 years old) and it worked fine, so I copied the file to a CD then installed this on my laptop. Very long-winded but it worked. Both are running XP home, but the desktop has SP2 installed. |

Version 2.70 |
If you have the latest version 2.2.1 of PoiLoader that may be the problem, seems it will not work correctly with the i3, not sure about other Garmin units.
Version 2.0.2 was the last version that seemed to be OK. |

Hello, newbie user here. I have the i3 and have loaded the latest software on (2.70)
I have the same problem and can only try to use the POI Loader v 2.2.1
Does anyone have a copy of the older version they could perhaps send me? A link would be ideal if not email
My address is neil dot rawson at gmail dot com
Thanks! |

Other posts today on the forum suggest that Garmin have put an earlier version back on their web site. |

I have just got my Garmin Nuvi 300 today and am tring to load the camera poi files onto it. I have the latest copy of Garmin's POILoader and have downloaded the garmin-dec05.zip file. When I point the loader at the extracted directory from the zip file it has an error message. The loader says that the csv file is invalid.
Please could you help.
Thanks Leo |
