Not necessary. I've been using Checkpoint for around 18 momths on two versions of TT and have never been to the website to synchronise. |

Sorry mate but if you have never been to the checkpoint website then surely your speed cameras can’t be up to date. You have to refresh and synchronize.

You can use checkPOInt to give you warnings from the pocket gps database. I have this setup at the moment as i am not yet convinced about the checkpoint database.
(no typos this time)

I have been doing some digging Trevor1234 and have found out the pocket gps database has 30616 camaras and checkpoint database has 28855 camaras so i think i will stock with pocket gps
