maca2 thank you for your help. If i understand correctly there is practically nothing to do in order to make the unit to display the altimeter correct.
So does anyone know if there is any software that you can set where the zero altimeter is and then get the altimeter relative to the zero altimeter that you set?

The only way I know what height I am at is when I use my Memory map software while out on my mountain bike as it gives me data of the height from sea level up so I can see how high or steep the hills I climb are.
I believe the readings from memory map are software based so the my GPS position is taken from the Mio then once memory map knows my position it takes the altitude data from the software, this information is given immediately. |

hi all can someone please help....
jsut got a 168 trying to install tt5 all goes on ok but can not get it to setup with the intergrated gps...HELP
