SmartST 2005

I recently bought the upgrade to SmartST 2005 for my icn 630 everything went well until I tried to load maps onto the new software it trys for ages and gets to about 99% complete then just fails with the error message " unable to transfer whatever map I try to your unit please contact tech support error number 7.

Anyone any ideas, because I contacted support 3 days ago and have yet to receive as much as a word from them it doesnt exactly fill you with confidence in the support side of it I had a working unit 3 days ago with old maps now I have a unit with nice new software but no maps so its been rendered into a expensive paperweight.

For what it's worth it took Navman nearly two weeks to reply to a simple question about the latest map updates. As I was considering spending money you would have thought they would have been more prompt.

Try calling them - it's much quicker than emailing or web support request..
