Have been trying to update my TTG original with the V5.42 update.
When I try to update to my SD card256 with v5.42 it loads and then the screen freezes and it does not work. This card was bought on ebay with V5.201 OS908 GB map v3.90
When I try to update my original SD card128 with v5.42..all is well. This now has V5.42 OS1008 GB Map V314.
Any help how I can load v5.42 onto my bigger sd card please.

It sounds like your SD Card is getting full. How much free space is there on the Card?
Try taking off the POI's and any extra voices to give the Setup Program more working space.

Tried that and reloaded update, but it still freezes.

| Have you tried putting a copy of the original updated card on to the bigger card? |

Thanks, have not tried that but am worried as the 2nd card has the updated gb map and the original has the older version of the maps.
The second card says that I have 100mb free but stil freeezes.

Before doing this make another backup of the larger card.
Try copying all the files APART FROM THE MAP FOLDER to the larger card.
Might work ? |

Thanks for help.
Have copied and deleted the new bigger card and downloaded backup from the original card....it works v5.42 with GB map v3.14 on the newer 256 sd card.
Now what files do I need to copy to update my GB map to v3.90 which was on the larger card which have copied to my desktop?

Just copy the files in the Map Folder.
