|
|
I have had my Classic for some time and use the new European maps ( mainly France and Germany) plus the UK extensively.. and think it is the best thing since sliced bread...
We move the TT from my car to my wifes car .. frequently and have a fixing in each car... we have all the latest upgrades and things...
Now we are thinking of UPGRADING to the 700 so that we can use the seamless mapping facility -- thats all really..
The questions are --
What do you do with your second hand Tom tom--- is it saleable.. or are the licences so tight that you cannot "officially" sell it??
Even if you did how do you transfer the licences over??
Any info would be helpfull... _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |

As sgould said, 'buy the complete europe map on an SD Card. It will work in the Classic'.
Therefore there would be no second-hand unit to worry about selling.
Or am I missing something. _________________ Richard

You can sell the Classic but you will have to sell any maps that you have activated with it as well. |

Have you registered on TT website? If so, Login to TT and go to My Profile.
Change the details to your son's as necessary. Change the email address and password so that your son can access 'his' profile.
When you receive your 700 then register your unit with your details. _________________ Richard
