|
|
After pondering over a Tom Tom 500 for some time, I spotted the Garmin nuvi 300 and went for that instead - Brilliant, chuffed to bits with it :D
Have downloaded the Garmin POI Loader and Safety Camera POI but have not yet loaded it.
Couple of questions:
1. What folder does it load the POI to on the nuvi?
2. Can I remove the Safety Camera POI (or any POI for that matter) from the nuvi at a later date?
Thanks in advance. |

with the poi loader you select the folder yes the 1 folder that contains all the pois eg speed cameras ets all must be un ziped etc then when you run the poi loader it will ask you to select the folder that contains the pois you will then up load the pois to the unit if you need to upload more it will delete the previous ones quite complicated not being funny i am trying to put togethe an idiots guide to the speeded zones etc together.
the pois will go to a separate folder not in the map like tomtom... hope this helps adam......... |

If I want to remove all custom POI's I have previously uploaded, do I
1. delete the folder on the nuvi.
or
2. Run the POI Loader and point it at an empty directory (as I believe that the POI Loader first removes all existing POI's before loading a new set). |
