When you say they have gone, where are you looking?
If the Great_Britain-map folder is only missing from the backup you made on your PC that's not a problem, if you used the software on the CD to make the backup there are options to back up "everything" or only your personal settings. Hopefully you have just selected the wrong option.
If, however, you cannot see your map folder on the SD card when you have the Go or One connected to the PC, you are in bigger trouble. If you made your backup by click and dragging, hopefully you might have moved the folder rather than copying it. I'd suggest you do a very thorough search of your PC's hard disk for it first.
Unfortunately, if it is nowhere to be found, your only options are to take it back to the shop where you bought it and try to get it exchanged as "faulty", or (more ethically) get in touch with TomTom (by phone not e-mail!!), throw yourself on their mercy, and send the card back to them with a photocopy of your receipt. Don't send the whole unit back, they might replace it with a refurbished one. |

Fingers crossed, and search everywhere on your PC. |

I would drag the folder and drop it into the GO window.
Then once it's OK. Reconnect the GO to your PC and drag and drop a full backup back tp a folder on the PC. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
